My boyfriend and I *love* sushi -- we can't get enough. We adore Osaka. Mostly we hit the habatchi -- where the high prices are worth it to watch the chefs do some crazy-fun antics. The throw knifes and spatulas, eggs ... shrimp. They juggle. They chat with the patrons and make wisecracks. Its fun! Osaka has a more family-oriented atmosphere. Take the kids to the grill and they'll be entertained while they eat. If you like sushi, also try Sake, downtown. They have a classier atmosphere, good for dates and business dinners. Sunshine Sushi (on campus) and Tsunami Sushi (at Schnucks) have the best prices, but it's basically take-out. - Jamie , posted 04/30/06 |

I love Osaka. Friendly, family type atmosphere and awesome dishes. We stay over mainly on the Sushi bar side but the Hibachi Grill is really hopping. The Ika salad is perfectly delicately seasoned and the spout salad is refreshing and spicy. The sushi is always delicious and the entrees are really good too. Be sure to have some of the Tempura fried ice cream, reminecent of funnel cakes and delcious homemade ice cream. You won't be disappointed! - Melanie , posted 06/06/05 |
