I discovered Eric Flint's writing just two months ago. The first of his books I read was 1632. I find his alternate histories plausible (given the beginning situation and the change he makes for the altering of subsequent events) and presented with a nice balance of seriousness and humor. My favorite works by Mr. Flint are: The 163X Series, The 1812 and 1824 duology (thus far). - Charles , posted 02/13/08 |
