A tire and electronic waste recycling effort will be held from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, at MU's Reactor Field, on Providence
Road south of the football stadium. Household/farm tires, televisions,
computer monitors, microwaves and other electronics will be collected
and disposed of properly. Fees: $1 per car tire ($2 on rim), $5 per
truck or tractor tire ($10 on rim), most e-waste items $5 each. Project
approved by Missouri Department of Natural Resources and grant funded
by the Mid-Mo Solid Waste Management District. For information call 573-
